Dan answered his calling to serve God and to serve the family of worshipers at the Christian Church of Sigourney in 2022. A native of this area he knows the community and many of the people who live here. Dan is often found around town talking to folks about Jesus and the importance of joining together to worship. How would he describe himself? A simple sinner saved and loved by Jesus. He will never shy away from an opportunity to introduce Jesus to others and he is absolutely charged up about seeing kids come to Christ.  Dan kinda geeks out about first century Jewish culture and how that knowledge increases our understanding of Jesus's teachings.  Need to talk? My name is Melissa Glandon, I am one of the youth Sunday School teachers here at Cristian Church of Sigourney. I am a Mother, grandmother and wife. I taught Sunday school in Hedrick Iowa where my children grew up. I enjoy learning about the Bible and the lessons that God has taught through reading His word. I hope to get kids to learn about the Bible and to understand how to live a Christian life. With God, they can help others by teaching them love, kindness and grace. The children are the future of our faith, they need to learn how to spread the word as Christians. We also have a lot of fun!! We have a great group of teachers and students!!

Christine has been worshipping with us since 2023. She was raised in our community and continues to reside in Keokuk County with her family. Christine longs to share with others just how much God loves us - even with all our imperfections. She rejoices in walking beside others as they grow in their relationship with God. Christine hopes to help others see that as Christ followers we can truly fulfill our purpose through living a life of excitement for Jesus.
