Welcome to the Christian Church of Sigourney. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes. We are glad to join you in your worship! You will be greeted and welcomed and as a guest we ask that you sign the guest book just inside the sanctuary entrance.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at the Christian Church of Sigourney and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service we love to see infants and children. If your children are uncomfortable we have an area right next to the sanctuary where you and they can play as you listen.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound Bible based messages.  We love to learn and follow the teachings of Christ Jesus. Periodically we invite other pastors to speak so pastor Dan can sit in the pews and learn with the family.  We encourage you to come ready to learn and ready to grow.

Biblical Teaching

Here at the Christian Church of Sigourney, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a family to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where we all have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
